Yacht Rock 2 The Alchemist

Usually on 30th of August, ordinary people have already finished their holidays, getting ready (or almost) to face another long year of work-stress, but The Alchemist and the guests of the second chapter of his album Yacht Rock don’t. In fact, the prolific Californian producer and the rappers hanging with him are individuals with expensive tastes. This time they decided, indeed, to sail for a 5-star musical cruise, equipped by the boat owner, The Alchemist, of sophisticated samples and productions; while the usual producer guests (including Action Bronson, Willie The Kid, Roc Marciano, Big Twins, the Griselda members, Boldy James and others.) provided this exclusive trip with plenty luxury rap portions.

If you feel nostalgic about your holidays …listening to this record IT will bring you onboard of a 20 meters yacht, off the French Riviera coast, while tasting oysters and sipping good champagne. Recommended for Hip-Hop gourmets.

Head Shots Dark Lo & Rigz

We are approaching to the hoodie season, and Dark Lo and Rigz decided to anticipate it providing us this EP of 7 tracks with dark atmospheres and rough street rhymes; the real street rap, with no need to exhibit face tattoos or fake weapons. To confirm it, ask to Dark Lo comrade, AR-AB, rapper and general of the Philadelphia crew, the notorious OBH. Indeed, with AR-AB who’s serving a long sentence in jail, it’s up to Dark Lo to take over the historic Philly’s street crew. For this mission he recruited Rigz, Rochester native (NY), one of the most valid prospects of the East Coast’s underground scene .

If you like street rap, this is one of the best projects released in September and… you better duck down, as this two aim at your head with their rhymes too !!!

Mattoni Night Skinny

Mattoni is the album showing the actual level of the Italian rap mixing different styles and generations, highlighting the skills of each artist. Produced and directed completely by Night Skinny, it’s a project expressing many positive notes about how Italian rap is growing.
From the first traces it’s clear that the concept of the disc is to enhance the lyrical abilities of the different rappers of each track. Rkomi, Noyz, Fabri Fibra, Marracash, Guè, Luchè and Tedua, are just some of the most representative artists of the current Italian Hip-Hop scene displayed in a disc, to listen piece by piece, with beats always different and suitable for all musical need.

Talk Dirty 2 Loaded Lux

Harlem native Loaded Lux, better known for his legendary freestyle battles than albums or mixtapes, surprised us with one of the hardest projects of September, Talk Dirty 2. 21 tracks filled with New York stylish powerful bangers , like the single “Prints on a Handgun”, in collaboration with another representative of Harlem, Smoke Dza. Hard-hitting bars on strong productions, but not only, Loaded Lux narrows his stories bringing us into the projects of the renowned New York borough, proving that is not only a freestyler but even more a complete Hip Hop artist. Highly recommended for NY rap lovers.

Retropolitan Skyzoo + Pete Rock

On September 20th c.y., it has been released the awaited musical project Retropolitan, a collaboration, for the independent label Mello Music Group, between the legendary producer Pete Rock and the rapper Skyzoo. As declared by the talented Brooklyn lyricist, this record is at the same time “a love letter and a wakeup call” for New York and its citizens. It is a tribute to what the city represents but also a heartfelt call to not lose its cultural identity and to preserve the essential values of the Hip Hop culture that nowadays (according to the rapper) it seems to get a second relevance.

It’s an album with a vintage sound but also with a current and modern message. It surrenders the listener to the New York of the golden age, thanks to the refined productions of Pete Rock on which a renewed Skyzoo gives a further demonstration of his talent.
The 12 tracks of the album host also several artists from the US underground scene such as Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, Benny The Butcher, Elzhi, Styles P and Raheem DeVaughn. This is a record to listen and to appreciate, as certainly will not disappoint lovers expectations.
