Hi, my name is SEMOR, also known as “the mad one”, and I started doing graffiti back in 1994. As a kid, I used to draw on the walls of my room with chalk, writing letters in different styles. I had no idea it was called graffiti until 1992, when my sister showed me the film Style Wars — that changed everything. I got my name from The Simpsons: Bart’s principal is named Seymour Skinner. I liked how the name sounded, so I flipped the letters into “SEMOR” and started writing it everywhere.
I live in Cologne and I’m part of the SBB crew (Super Bad Boys). I’m into crazy color schemes, combining graphic elements, layers, and shapes — from throw-ups to classic lettering. I love experimenting and constantly pushing my style forward. It’s refreshing to evolve and step outside your comfort zone. Love what you do, and do what you love!
